This matching set of an 11 oz ceramic mug and coaster features an illustration of a Japanese lady looking onto a moonlit bonsai tree with decorative koi swimming around it. Bonsai trees are Japanese miniature trees grown in a container. They are trimmed, pruned and wired to shape their trunk and branches to create a realistic, aged-looking tree. The art of bonsai growing symbolises patience and peace while offering a relaxing hobby.
